Joe Carslake Hanshi Said -
"It was my pleasure and Honour to be invited to attend and sit on the Grading Panel of in the home Dojo of Sensei' Paul and Lesley King on the occasion of the first dan gradings in their own form of Ju-Jitsu.
It was a great pleasure to see people who have trained so long, and so hard, and shown such tremendous commitment to the Ideals we all strive to achieve, as Jutsuka, perform in such wonderful fashion. the form of Ju-Jitsu taught by the Sensei' King, is a Gendai, a modern format, and they have every right to be very proud of their Style.
The standard of the students going for assessment was truly impressive. the emphasis on good solid self defence principles, combined with a philosophy of restraint and the pursuit of self development, is truly impressive.
The Dan Grades awarded, were well deserved, and the Sensei' should feel very proud indeed, of the standard of performance, and take great pride in the quality of student they train, well done the Kings.
Joe Carslake, Kyushoshin Ju-Jutsu IJJKAI.
9th Dan, Hanshi."
